Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly demanded ₦1,000,000,000.00 in compensation from Pastor Chris Okafor, accusing him of emotional damage and personal loss in a lawsuit that is already stirring intense public debate. According to the suit, Ogala claims the cleric consistently promised to marry her, introduced her to his family from the very beginning of their relationship, and convinced her of a future together.

Ogala further alleges that she left her marriage based on those assurances and handed over control of her bank account containing ₦45 million to Okafor. She claims the relationship later collapsed, leaving her emotionally distressed, with her marriage ruined, her health affected, and the pastor eventually marrying another person.

The actress is now seeking ₦1 billion in damages, demanding payment within 21 days, failing which she is expected to pursue further legal action. As the claims remain allegations before the court, the case has already ignited conversations around trust, power, and accountability in highly influential relationships.
