The Ndigbo for Tinubu 2027 Forum (NDI‑ABAT) has praised the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for its decision not to field a presidential candidate in the 2027 general election. The group described the move as a demonstration of political pragmatism and national interest.
NDI‑ABAT also pledged to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Southeast region and among Nigerians in the diaspora, claiming the potential to deliver over 13 million votes in his favour.
Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, a prominent APGA leader, has joined calls urging Igbo voters not to “waste their votes” in the upcoming election, reinforcing the party’s alignment with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
This development highlights growing cooperation between APGA and APC as the nation prepares for the 2027 elections, scheduled for January 16, 2027.
