Four hundred Nigerians, including 90 females and 310 males, were deported from the United Arab Emirates and arrived back in Nigeria on Friday. The deportees were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, by a coordinated effort involving the National Security Adviser, the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), along with other stakeholders.

The returnees were processed and provided with necessary support services upon arrival. The joint efforts of these agencies highlight Nigeria’s commitment to managing the repatriation of its citizens and ensuring their safe reintegration into the country.
