LIGHTER LOAD, STRONGER MINDS – NIGERIA’S NEW SCHOOL CURRICULUM (2025/26)

Share

Starting from the 2025/26 academic session, Nigerian schools will adopt a revised curriculum designed to reduce subject overload and strengthen learning outcomes.

The new framework introduces fewer, more focused subjects across primary, junior secondary, senior secondary, and technical pathways, ensuring that students gain deeper knowledge and practical skills rather than being burdened with excessive coursework.

This reform marks a major step toward modernizing Nigeria’s education system, aligning it with global best practices while addressing the unique needs of local learners.
