
The Permanent Secretary, State House, Mr. Temitope Peter Fashedemi, has commended five staff members of the State House for their exceptional performance in the Service Wide Digital Skills Literacy Training Programme initiated by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation. During a brief ceremony in his office, Mr. Fashedemi described their success as a reflection of the State House’s commitment to excellence and innovation, noting that their dedication aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which emphasizes efficiency and technology driven governance.
He also lauded the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Didi Esther Wilson Jack, for introducing the programme in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). According to him, the initiative is a timely intervention aimed at building a modern, digitally proficient civil service capable of delivering effective and innovative public service. The training, which began on September 10, 2025, forms part of the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021 2025 and supports the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy.
The five staff members, Wassa Isa Francis, Ubong John Akpan, Abdulrahman Iliya, Oluwasegun Samuel, and Ahmed Musa, received HP laptop computers from Dr. Wilson Jack in recognition of their achievements. The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction and the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs also ranked among the top performers in the first phase of the training exercise.
