
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended Nigeria’s front-line security personnel for their courage and sacrifices in the ongoing fight against terrorism and violent crimes across the country.
He described members of the Armed Forces, Police, DSS, Civil Defence, intelligence services, and other security formations as a shield between innocent citizens and those seeking to disrupt peace and national stability.
Tinubu also acknowledged the sacrifices of their families and honoured personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty, noting that their service continues to inspire national resilience.
He urged citizens to support security agencies with timely and useful information, stressing that the fight against insecurity is a collective national responsibility.
The President reaffirmed that Nigeria will not succumb to fear or violent extremism, adding that the country remains committed to safeguarding peace, unity, and stability.
