Russian Airstrike Reportedly Claims Life of 23-Year-Old Nigerian Medical Graduate

Nnani Adaobi Marian, a 23-year-old Nigerian medical graduate who was critically injured during a Russian airstrike in Kharkiv, Ukraine, has reportedly died in Germany.

Marian, a graduate of Kharkiv National Medical University, sustained life-threatening injuries when a Russian guided aerial bomb struck Kharkiv on June 29.

She initially received emergency treatment in Ukraine before being transferred to Germany for specialized medical care.

Despite extensive efforts by medical teams in both Ukraine and Germany, she later succumbed to her injuries.

Her death comes just days after the same attack claimed the life of her friend, Fatima, who was killed at the scene.
