Al Jazeera Staff Hold Moment of Silence for Slain Colleagues

Al Jazeera employees across its global offices have observed a moment of silence in honour of five colleagues killed in what the network describes as a targeted Israeli attack in Gaza City.

The tribute comes just days after the journalists, including correspondent Anas al-Sharif, were killed when a tent for media workers outside al-Shifa Hospital was struck. The network has accused Israel of systematically targeting its reporters in Gaza.

Staff members stood in solidarity, remembering the victims’ commitment to covering the conflict despite life-threatening risks, and reiterating calls for accountability for attacks on journalists.
