The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at its 179th meeting, has announced the dissolution of the Enugu State Executive Committee due to prolonged internal disputes and unresolved rivalries among party members.

In a related development, the party also disqualified two governorship aspirants in the forthcoming Ekiti State off cycle election, namely Kayode Ojo and Olajumoke Abimbola.

Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, Duro Meseko, revealed that the APC is finalizing arrangements ahead of the expected defection of Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, to the ruling party.
