The APC National Chairman, Nentawe G. Yilwatda, on Tuesday engaged with State Coordinators of the party’s Electronic Registration Exercise at the National Secretariat in Abuja, emphasizing the importance of ensuring no member is left behind in the historic exercise.
Chairman Yilwatda described the registration as a strategic pillar for the future of the APC, noting that it strengthens internal democracy, improves data integrity, and positions the party for effective mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections. He stressed that a party that knows its members and values their participation is always ready to win.
He further warned that every coordinator will be held accountable for the success of the exercise in their state, describing it as a national responsibility rather than a routine activity. The chairman also urged coordinators to take the registration down to the grassroots, ensuring members are not excluded due to distance, ignorance, or logistical challenges.
Highlighting the party’s commitment to modernization, Yilwatda said, “Technology must serve the people, not shut them out,” adding that the APC is building a data-driven, people-centred political organisation. He expressed satisfaction with the coordinators’ commitment and optimism that the exercise will reflect the strength, discipline, and unity of the All Progressives Congress.
