Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has won the Anambra State governorship election by a landslide, reaffirming the party’s dominance in the state’s political landscape.

According to official results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Soludo secured a commanding lead across several local government areas, defeating his closest rivals by a wide margin.

The victory marks a major political milestone for Soludo, a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and strengthens APGA’s hold on Anambra, where the party has governed since 2006.

Political observers say the result reflects continued voter confidence in APGA’s grassroots governance model and Soludo’s technocratic appeal.
