
Aradel Holdings Plc has approved a 25% increase in board remuneration following resolutions passed at its 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on May 28, 2025.
Under the revised structure, the Chairman’s annual fee has risen from $55,000 to $68,750, while his sitting allowance per board meeting has increased from $2,100 to $2,625. Non‑executive directors will now receive an annual fee of $40,500, up from $32,400, and their sitting allowance has been raised from $1,100 to $1,375. The changes took effect retroactively from January 1, 2025.
Shareholders at the AGM also approved a final dividend of ₦22.00 per share, re‑appointed Deloitte & Touche as the company’s external auditors for the 2025 financial year, and adopted an amendment capping the board’s size at 11 directors.
The upward revision in board compensation, according to the company, is designed to attract and retain experienced directors as it pursues its growth and expansion objectives.
