The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued aerodrome certificates to Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport and Port Harcourt International Airport, confirming they meet international safety and operational standards.
The certification, aligned with ICAO benchmarks, marks a significant milestone for Nigeria’s aviation sector. Officials said it will enhance safety, boost investor confidence, and strengthen international trust in the country’s airports.
With this, four of Nigeria’s five international airports including Lagos and Abuja are now fully certified. FAAN’s leadership pledged continued collaboration with NCAA to maintain high standards across all airports.
Kano and Port Harcourt airports are now officially recognized as safe, efficient, and globally compliant, paving the way for improved international operations. Visit www.jocomms.com for more news.
