The event marks a historic milestone as Nigeria hosts its first-ever global aviation exhibition, attracting industry leaders, manufacturers, investors, and regulators from around the world.

Organised by the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, the Airshow forms part of the country’s efforts to position itself as a major aviation hub in Africa while commemorating a century of aviation milestones.

Arik Air’s Managing Director described the airline’s involvement as a strategic move aligned with its broader transformation agenda. He noted that the Airshow offers a platform for the airline to showcase its renewed operational capabilities, reinforce its brand identity, and deepen engagement with both local and international stakeholders.

According to the airline, participation in the event will strengthen partnerships across the global aviation landscape, facilitate discussions around technological innovation, and highlight opportunities for collaboration with aircraft manufacturers, service providers, and government agencies.

The Nigeria International Airshow is expected to feature commercial airlines, defence and aerospace organisations, aviation service companies, and original equipment manufacturers, alongside top policymakers and industry influencers. Organisers say the event will boost investment, foster industry growth, and support Nigeria’s long-term ambition to enhance safety, connectivity, and competitiveness in the aviation sector.
