Aston Villa have completed the signing of Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on a season-long loan, while also securing Harvey Elliott from Liverpool.
According to The Athletic, Villa will cover 80 per cent of Sancho’s salary during his loan spell. The England international spent last season on loan at Chelsea and now heads to the Midlands under Unai Emery as he looks to revive his career. The agreement does not include an option to buy next summer.
Meanwhile, Villa have also brought in Harvey Elliott on loan from Liverpool, with the deal carrying an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.
The double signing represents a significant boost to Emery’s squad as Villa look to strengthen both depth and creativity ahead of the new campaign.
