In a similar incident, bandits struck the Dan Honu II Millennium City of Chikun Local Government Area on Wednesday night, abducting a mother and her three sons. This attack came two months after the kidnapping of local journalists and their families in the same area.

According to reports, the bandits targeted the home of Mr. Mutiu Adeleke around 10 p.m., shooting sporadically before taking his wife and three sons while leaving him behind. The source mentioned that Mrs. Adeleke, unable to keep up with the bandits, was abandoned in the bush but later returned home. The bandits took her three sons.

Mr. Adeleke had recently decided to relocate from the community and had secured a new apartment just two days before the attack. He and his family had begun moving their belongings to the new location, planning to complete the move by the following weekend.

The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Munsir Hassan, has not yet commented on the incidents.
