Barcelona Hit by Injury Blow as Lamine Yamal Ruled Out

Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal has been ruled out of tomorrow’s match and could also miss the upcoming Champions League clash against Newcastle, head coach Hansi Flick confirmed on Monday. The teenager’s absence comes as a major setback for the Catalan side, with the 17-year-old having been one of their brightest attacking sparks this season.

Flick expressed frustration over how Yamal was handled during the international break, blaming Spain’s medical staff for worsening the situation. “Spain gave him painkillers and even when they were winning they made him play. This is not taking care of the players. I’m very sad about this,” the coach said.

Barcelona are already dealing with a packed schedule and limited options in attack, making Yamal’s injury a fresh headache. The club will now monitor his recovery closely, with hopes of having him fit for crucial fixtures in the coming weeks.
