In an interview with our correspondent in Maiduguri, Hon. Zannah—who also serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on the North East Development Commission (NEDC)—disclosed this.
“The humanitarian senator and Chief Whip of the 10th Nigerian Senate, Mohammed Tahir Monguno of Borno North, my humble self Usman Zannah, Mustapha Alibe, representing Kaga in the Borno State House of Assembly, Hon. This is on top of the food and non-food items that have been distributed, such as mats, blankets, buckets, and too many other items to list.
“I want to specifically appreciate the federal government government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Vice- President, Senator Kashim Shettima for their support always.
“I also appreciate Governor Babagana Zulum for sending high level delegation headed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Bukar Tijjani to ascertain the level of flood damage in Mainok”. Zannah said.
