A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the remand of popular TikToker Saheed Osama and Uyime Udoekwere at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre. The duo are facing charges related to allegedly making libellous statements against Mrs. Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The accused were arraigned over social media content that prosecutors claim contained false and damaging allegations targeted at Mrs. Aloba. The court’s decision to remand them follows a preliminary hearing on the charges, which include defamation and cyberbullying.

The case has drawn significant public attention due to Mohbad’s high-profile death and the ongoing controversies surrounding it. Legal proceedings are set to continue as the court weighs the evidence and arguments from both sides.
