The Federal Government is set to approve a salary increase for political office holders, including the President, Vice President, Ministers, and Senators.

This was hinted by the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), which confirmed that discussions are ongoing to adjust remuneration packages for top government officials.

The planned review comes amid mounting public concern over the rising cost of living and economic hardship across the country.
