The Deputy Head of Mission at the British High Commission, Simon Field, has paid a visit to world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua at the hospital following a deadly road accident on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.

The visit was made to express support and concern for the boxer in the aftermath of the tragic incident, which reportedly claimed lives. Further details surrounding the accident and Joshua’s condition were not immediately disclosed.
