Andrew Wynne, a Briton wanted by the Nigeria Police Force for allegedly plotting to overthrow President Bola Tinubu, has denied the charges.
In a statement, Wynne claimed he is not evading authorities and expressed willingness to engage with Nigerian officials. “I am not aware that I am a fugitive or running from the law,” Wynne stated. He highlighted his long-standing presence in Nigeria, including operating a bookshop in Abuja for seven years, without previous issues with security forces.
Wynne is open to discussions via WhatsApp, Zoom, or meeting with Nigerian High Commission officials in London.
