It was a mixed day of action in the Premier League on Saturday, with Arsenal delivering a commanding performance, while Chelsea were forced to settle for a draw in West London.

At the Emirates, Arsenal continued their strong start to the season with a 3–0 victory over Nottingham Forest. The Gunners dominated from the first whistle, controlling possession and creating chances with ease. Goals from Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, and Martin Ødegaard sealed the three points, keeping Mikel Arteta’s side firmly in the hunt at the top of the table.

Elsewhere, Chelsea were frustrated by Brentford in a 2–2 draw at the Gtech Community Stadium. Despite taking the lead through Raheem Sterling, defensive lapses allowed the Bees to hit back twice. Nicolas Jackson’s late equaliser rescued a point for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, but the Blues will see it as a missed opportunity against a side battling mid-table.

In other results, Tottenham showed their title credentials with a comfortable 3–0 win away to West Ham, while Bournemouth shocked Brighton 2–1 at the Vitality Stadium. Newcastle edged Wolves 1–0 at St James’ Park, Fulham beat Leeds 1–0, while both Crystal Palace vs Sunderland and Everton vs Aston Villa ended goalless.

With Arsenal and Tottenham both securing emphatic wins, the pressure mounts on Chelsea, who remain inconsistent in their push for a top-four finish.
