Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced the arrival of 4,000 compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered trucks as part of its upcoming fuel distribution programme, scheduled to officially launch on August 15, 2025.
The CNG-powered fleet is expected to enhance nationwide product delivery while reducing reliance on diesel-powered haulage, aligning with the company’s push for cleaner and more cost-efficient transportation.
According to the refinery, the deployment will improve logistics efficiency, lower distribution costs, and support Nigeria’s transition toward alternative energy sources in the downstream oil sector.
