The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria has assured candidates sitting for the November 2025 diet examinations that the delayed study packs under its new syllabus will be released before the end of August.
Prospective candidates had expressed concern on social media over the delay, noting that only few days are left before the exams.
Addressing these concerns in a Friday statement signed by the Registrar, Lanre Olasunkanmi, ICAN acknowledged the anxiety among students.
“The Institute fully recognises the concern and understands the anxiety of students as the November 2025 examinations draw nearer and the new syllabus study packs are yet to be released,” the statement partly read.
The institute went further to assure candidates of its commitment to a timely release, noting that arrangements are already in place to meet the deadline.
“We want to assure you that this matter is receiving our highest priority and will be available by the end of August 2025”, it said.
On the quality of the forthcoming materials, ICAN stressed that the delay was partly due to its commitment to excellence.
“Every effort is made to ensure that the contents meet the Institute’s rigorous quality standards for global best practices and provide students with the best possible preparation for your examinations,” the statement explained.
While urging patience, the institute advised candidates to continue studying with available resources.
“We appreciate your patience and encourage you to keep preparing with available resources such as past questions, reference texts, and peer discussions,” the statement concluded.
