
In a significant step towards strengthening Nigeria’s solid minerals sector, Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, welcomed members of the House of Representatives Committee on Solid Minerals Development, led by Mr. Gaza Gbefwi, for an oversight visit to the ministry. The visit aimed to assess the ministry’s activities, review ongoing projects, and discuss strategic plans for the sector’s advancement.

During the visit, the committee reviewed the progress of key initiatives and engaged in discussions on future goals to improve the sector’s contribution to Nigeria’s economy. Mr. Alake emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts, noting that regular oversight is crucial to ensure the successful implementation of policies that promote growth and attract investment in solid minerals.
