The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, today inaugurated the Renewed Hope Partners initiative in Abia State, beginning with Ukwa East and Ukwa West Local Government Areas.
The program, which aims to engage local communities in socio-economic development projects, is part of efforts to implement the Renewed Hope Agenda at the grassroots level. The inauguration marks the first of several planned rollouts across the state, with a focus on promoting citizen participation, local governance, and community-driven development.
Hon. Kalu encouraged residents and local stakeholders to actively participate in the initiative, stressing that the success of the program depends on community involvement and collaboration with government agencies.
The Renewed Hope Partners initiative is expected to enhance development planning in local governments, ensuring that federal policies and programs reach the grassroots effectively and sustainably.
