The Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), alongside the National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has led a high-powered delegation to Gombe State to commiserate with the families of NTA Gombe staff and other journalists who lost their lives in a ghastly road accident on Monday.

The delegation expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident, describing the deceased as committed professionals who served the media industry and the nation with dedication and integrity.

The Director-General conveyed the condolences of NTA management and assured the bereaved families of the Authority’s support during this difficult period. In his remarks, the NUJ President reaffirmed the union’s solidarity with journalists across the country, noting that the loss is deeply felt within the media community.

Prayers were offered for the repose of the souls of the departed, as well as for strength and comfort for their families, colleagues, and loved ones to bear the irreparable loss.
