Dino Melaye has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), citing the party’s inability to provide effective leadership and fulfill the expectations of good governance for the Nigerian people.
In a statement released to the public, Melaye expressed deep disappointment over what he described as the party’s persistent internal crises, lack of strategic direction, and failure to present a credible alternative to the ruling government.
He noted that despite his long-standing loyalty and contributions to the PDP, he could no longer align himself with a platform that, in his view, has lost touch with the aspirations of ordinary Nigerians.
While Melaye has not yet announced his next political move, his resignation is expected to send ripples across the political landscape, especially ahead of upcoming elections.
