Country music legend Dolly Parton has collaborated with a star-studded lineup including Miley Cyrus, Lainey Wilson, Queen Latifah and Reba McEntire on a newly recorded version of her 1977 hit, Light of a Clear Blue Morning.
The refreshed track was released on Friday, January 16, and reimagines a song originally featured on Parton’s album New Harvest… First Gathering. The collaboration brings together artists from different generations and musical backgrounds, blending country, pop and soul influences.
Proceeds from the new release will be donated to support pediatric cancer research at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville. Parton said the project reflects her long-standing commitment to using music as a tool for positive change and community impact.
The collaboration marks another philanthropic effort by the music icon, who continues to leverage her influence to support healthcare and humanitarian causes through creative partnerships. For more news, visit jocomms.com.
