Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite Represents Nigeria at 9th FOCAC Ministerial Conference in Beijing

Dr. Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, expressed her honor in representing Nigeria at the 9th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Ministerial Conference in Beijing. The conference, focusing on climate action, connectivity, and coalition building, brings together African and Chinese leaders to discuss shared priorities and strategies for development.

Uzoka-Anite highlighted Nigeria’s key priorities at the conference: boosting agricultural trade, accelerating industrialization, and expanding training opportunities for Nigerians. Collaborating with Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, she aims to strengthen ties with China and prepare for the upcoming FOCAC 2024 summit.

“Together, we’re building a future of shared prosperity for Africa and China,” Uzoka-Anite stated, emphasizing the importance of partnership in fostering economic growth and sustainable development across the continent.
