The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II, on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna State.
Sanusi, a long-time associate of the former Nigerian leader, was received by members of the Buhari family, where he offered prayers for the repose of the late president’s soul. He also prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family during this period of mourning.
The visit underscores the deep ties between the Kano Emirate and the late president, who served Nigeria from 2015 to 2023 before his passing.
