The National Assembly Service Commission has approved the appointment of Mr. Emmanuel Odo as the Acting Clerk of the Senate.

In a statement issued by the Commission, the appointment was conveyed through a letter signed by its Executive Chairman, Dr. Saviour Enyiekere. According to the Commission, Odo’s elevation is a recognition of his hard work, dedication, and administrative competence. He was also urged to justify the confidence reposed in him by diligently carrying out his new responsibilities.

Until his new appointment, Mr. Emmanuel Odo served as the Deputy Clerk of the Senate in charge of Administration.
