Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The visit comes ahead of Fayose’s 65th birthday and is seen as a significant reconciliation move, marking the end of a long-standing rift between the two political figures. The meeting, described as warm and cordial, reportedly focused on mutual respect and unity.

Fayose, who has in the past been one of Obasanjo’s most vocal critics, said his visit was to honour the elder statesman and to seek his blessings as he marks a new milestone in life.
