Abuja, Nigeria. The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved three transformative policy frameworks aimed at accelerating Nigeria’s transition into a digital and knowledge-driven economy.

The policies, presented by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, mark a major milestone in the federal government’s efforts to diversify the nation’s economy under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to the Ministry, the newly approved reforms are designed to strengthen Nigeria’s intellectual property ecosystem, unlock new opportunities in digital trade, and expand the country’s presence in the global services export market.

Analysts say the policies are expected to enhance innovation, attract foreign investment, and position Nigeria as a competitive player in the global digital economy.
