
The new Vice- Chancellor Federal University Dutse, Prof. Ahmad Muhammed-Gumel has revealed his plans to mount degree programs in Artificial Intelligence &Machine Learning, Data Science & Analytics, Networking and Cloud Computing among others.
The VC, who stated this during an interactive session with staff of the university, said in order to achieve academic excellence in the 21st Century there was the need to revise and modernize curricula to meet NUC benchmarks and global digital transformation in pedagogy.
Mr Gumel added that part of his plan in this regard iwas to introduce new and on-demand programs like AI & Machine Learning, Data Science & Analytics, Networking and Cloud Computing, Project Management, Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain, Geology, Climate-Smart Agriculture, Optometry, Physiotherapy, Community Health, Science Education and Business Education among others.
