FG Launches Multi-Agency Anti-Kidnap Fusion Cell to Strengthen National and State Security Coordination

The Federal Government has launched a State Expansion Multi-Agency Anti-Kidnap Fusion Cell as part of renewed efforts to tackle kidnapping and improve security collaboration between national and subnational levels.

The initiative is designed to enhance intelligence sharing, coordinated response, and strategic planning between security agencies and state governments. It brings together operatives from the military, police, DSS, and other relevant agencies into a centralized system focused on tracking and dismantling kidnapping networks.

By deepening synergy between federal and state security structures, the Anti-Kidnap Fusion Cell is expected to significantly improve response time, disrupt criminal operations, and boost public confidence in the government’s ability to protect lives and property nationwide.
