The Federal Government is set to launch a 12-month paid fellowship under the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) to provide unemployed graduates across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with practical work experience and job readiness skills.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, offering participants meaningful placements in both public and private sectors. Each fellow will receive a monthly stipend of ₦150,000.

The official launch is scheduled to take place at the State House Conference Centre and will be led by Vice President Kashim Shettima. Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Hadejia, emphasized that the programme aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by addressing youth unemployment and promoting national productivity.

The NJFP is designed as a flagship national employment model that connects graduates to meaningful roles, builds work-ready skills, and creates pathways into jobs and entrepreneurship, helping to tackle Nigeria’s persistent graduate unemployment challenge.
