The Federal Government has unveiled a major plan to revamp Nigeria’s transportation system with the aim of modernizing the rail network, reducing logistics costs, and boosting trade across the country.
According to the government, the reform agenda will focus on upgrading rail infrastructure, integrating road and port networks, and strengthening partnerships with the private sector to accelerate delivery. The initiative is also designed to cut bottlenecks in freight movement, lower the cost of doing business, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
