The revered monarch was warmly received by the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Kemi Nandap, alongside members of the Service’s management team. The visit provided an opportunity for direct engagement and firsthand observation of ongoing reforms within the agency.

During the visit, the Ooni praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the leadership of the Nigeria Immigration Service for the transformative policies being implemented under the Renewed Hope Agenda. He noted that the reforms have significantly improved efficiency, strengthened border governance, and enhanced service delivery.

The commendation underscores the Federal Government’s continued efforts to modernize migration management, reinforce national security, and build public confidence in the operations of the Nigeria Immigration Service.
