The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, on Monday held a high-level strategy session with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr. Olayemi Cardoso, at the apex bank’s headquarters in Abuja.

Also in attendance was the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr. Zacch Adedeji. The meeting underscored the Federal Government’s drive to enhance synergy between fiscal and monetary authorities in order to sustain macroeconomic stability.

According to officials, the engagement focused on measures to strengthen investor confidence, unlock private sector-led growth, and consolidate recent gains in Nigeria’s economic reforms.
