Abuja, August 28, 2024 – On Tuesday morning, Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, visited General Christopher Gwabin Musa, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
During their meeting, General Musa reaffirmed the military’s steadfast commitment to protecting democracy and contributing significantly to Nigeria’s economic and social recovery. He expressed appreciation for the ongoing support extended to the armed forces by the Ministry of Finance.
In response, Minister Edun praised General Musa and his team for their dedication to maintaining a secure environment that supports economic growth, aligning with President Tinubu’s vision of improving the quality of life for all Nigerians.
The visit concluded with a tour of the Defence Headquarters, where General Musa offered Minister Edun an informative overview of the office’s operational and administrative functions.
