The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on Nigerians to embrace peaceful coexistence, citing the Holy Bible as a foundation for national prosperity. She made the appeal in Kaduna during the annual distribution of food items to the Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum (CNNPF) for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Senator Tinubu commended Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for fostering religious harmony, urging other states to emulate the example. She also encouraged members of Nigeria’s creative industry to collaborate with the government in nation-building.
Governor Uba Sani described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the First Lady as leaders committed to service, compassion, and national unity. He highlighted the inclusive nature of the First Lady’s philanthropy, which transcends religious, ethnic, and regional boundaries.
Other dignitaries, including Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia and APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, praised the efforts of the President and Kaduna State Government in promoting peace and development. The CNNPF National Coordinator, Ibrahim Itodo, commended the President for sustaining national unity and called for the re-election of President Tinubu in 2027.
The initiative, a collaboration between the Office of the First Lady and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Masari, benefitted over 48,000 people across 19 Northern states.
