First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Honoured as “Sarauniya Yakin Kumo” by Akko Emirate

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has been honoured with the traditional title of “Sarauniya Yakin Kumo” (Queen Warrior of Kumo) by the Akko Emirate Council in Gombe State.

The conferment, which translates to the Queen Warrior of Akko Emirate, was bestowed in recognition of her contributions to nation-building, women empowerment, and the promotion of cultural values across Nigeria.

The title highlights the First Lady’s commitment to advancing social development initiatives, particularly in education, healthcare, and economic empowerment programs for women and youths.

Senator Tinubu expressed appreciation to the Emirate for the honour, pledging to continue supporting initiatives that strengthen families and communities while promoting peace and unity in the country.

The recognition by Akko Emirate adds to her growing list of accolades, reaffirming her role as a strong advocate for women and a pillar of national progress.
