
The body of former President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to depart London at approximately 7:45 AM for Nigeria, where he will be laid to rest in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
The solemn journey marks the final return of the late former President to his beloved homeland, with high-level government officials, close family members, and representatives of the Nigerian High Commission in London overseeing the dignified send-off.
Upon arrival in Nigeria, a brief military ceremony is scheduled at the Katsina Airport before the motorcade proceeds to Daura for the final burial rites in accordance with Islamic traditions and national honors befitting his status as a former Head of State.
