The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has been urged to uphold integrity and professionalism as it gears up for increased operations during the Christmas festive period.
The appeal was made during the “Ember Months Public Enlightenment and Sensitisation Campaign” organized by the FRSC’s Kano Sector Command. Former Acting Corps Marshal Danyaro Ali Yakasai, now Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor, encouraged officers to emulate the discipline of the FRSC’s founding era under Wole Soyinka.
Yakasai also highlighted the need for better regulation of tricycle operators due to their rising involvement in road accidents.
The FRSC assured the public that operations will focus on road safety awareness, compliance with traffic rules, and accident prevention, urging all travelers to exercise caution this festive season. Visit www.jocomms.com for more news.
