The Federal Road Safety Corps has announced plans to prosecute TikToker Peller following a road crash linked to distracted driving. The Corps said the incident stemmed from dangerous content creation practices while driving, warning that such actions violate traffic regulations and endanger lives.

According to the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, live streaming, recording videos, or engaging in any activity that distracts a driver while behind the wheel is a serious offence under Nigerian road traffic laws. He stressed that these acts pose grave danger not only to the driver but also to other innocent road users.

FRSC stated that the prosecution will cover offences including reckless driving, use of a mobile phone while driving, and distracted driving, in line with extant traffic laws.
