Fury Claims He’s the Only One Who Can Beat Usyk After Dubois Defeat

Tyson Fury has reignited his rivalry with Oleksandr Usyk, claiming the Ukrainian “knows” he’s the only fighter capable of beating him after Usyk’s dominant victory over Daniel Dubois.

Usyk, 38, delivered a commanding fifth-round stoppage at Wembley on Saturday to become a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion, reclaiming the IBF belt he previously vacated. The win further solidified his legacy, adding to his earlier triumphs over Fury — including a split-decision win in Riyadh last May that unified the WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF titles.

Fury, 36, who retired after losing to Usyk again by unanimous decision in December, recently hinted at a comeback and took to Instagram to respond to Usyk’s latest win.

“Massive shout-out to Oleksandr Usyk,” Fury said in a profanity-laced video shared while on a run. “He put in a fantastic performance against Daniel Dubois — a tough, young, game lad. But Usyk knows there’s only one man who can beat him. I’ve done it twice before. The world knows it. I took it like a man.”

Fury doubled down on his belief that he deserved to win both fights. “No matter what anyone says, I won those fights. Guaranteed. One hundred percent. GK (Gypsy King) — all day, every day. Get up!”

While the debate over the results continues, Fury’s promoter Frank Warren confirmed that a third bout between the two heavyweights would be a massive event, though it may have to wait.

“Tyson’s made it clear he’d love to fight at Wembley — it would be a huge occasion,” Warren said. “But WBO mandatory Joseph Parker is next in line.”

Warren added: “As a fan, I’d love to see Joe Parker get his shot. He’s on a strong run, just like Dubois was, and that fight has been ordered. Either it happens, or Parker fights for the vacant title.”

As speculation swirls around Fury’s return, the heavyweight division remains as explosive as ever — with Usyk still standing tall, and Fury eager to reclaim his place at the top
