Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has signed a Mutual Accountability Framework (KaMAF) with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to strengthen collaboration in health, agriculture, and governance.
The two-year, non-binding framework will be guided by a Joint Steering Committee and periodic reviews. It builds on Kaduna’s earlier development agreements and aims to improve transparency, citizen engagement, and service delivery.
Key focus areas include primary healthcare, maternal and child health, sustainable agriculture, data-driven policymaking, transparent budgeting, and women’s economic empowerment.
Governor Sani described the partnership as a commitment to “inclusive growth and better governance,” while the Gates Foundation hailed it as a model for government–partner collaboration.
