Governor Alia Flags-Off 55km Road Upgrade in Benue

Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has flagged off the reconstruction and dualization of 55.09 km of roads across Gboko, aimed at improving connectivity and boosting economic activities.
The project, valued at ₦62.135 billion and expected to be completed within five months, covers major routes including Yandev Roundabout to Lubona Junction, Captain Dawns Road, and J.S. Tarka to Mkar Roundabout.
Governor Alia thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support and described the upgraded road network as set to become the second-longest in Benue State, enhancing mobility and commerce. Local leaders also welcomed the project, highlighting its potential to transform transportation and regional development.
